There are various techniques in achieving a glowing skin.


Exfoliation: Exfoliation enables the skin to look fresher and younger, it makes the skin more receptive to moisturize and it keep blemishes away. For those with dry skin exfoliate once a week, exfoliate twice a week if you have a combination skin. Exfoliation helps to peel off dry cells from the skin, Excessive exfoliation causes red looks, brown spots e.t.c.

Steam Towel Treatment: This steaming treatment helps to open pores, loosen blackheads, draw out pimples and remove deep down dirt and toxins to leave the skin completely clean. It is suitable for all skin types. It can be done once every week to supplement daily cleansing and more frequently for those with oily skin.

How to Steam:
Add a table spoon of fresh herbs e .g Thyme in a bowl of hot water, position your face about 12-18 inches away from the hot water and cover bowl and head with a towel.
The CTM Technique

Cleansing: This is the first stage of the CTM technique. It should be done first thing in the morning and last thing at night in order to remove deep- down dirt and make up in pores. It is a treatment that helps fight against wrinkles aging. It makes the skin more receptive to moisturizers and anti-aging treatment. Treatments given to the face applies to the neck.

Toning:
This is the second stage of the CTM technique. Toning actually means firmness of the body. Using a toner helps to remove traces of cleansers, refine and tightens pores and at the same time prevents the build up of dead cells.

Moisturising:
This is the final stage, It helps refresh and restore moisture loss by sun, cold and pollution. How do you take care of those vital organs? Drinking plenty of water, eliminates the natural toxic build up in all organs and tissues of the body. Experts suggest 8 cups or more in a day. It keeps the skin glowing all day.
